Standard Entry vs Powerplay Entry SHFL Lottery Tickets

The SHFL Lottery started with players staking SHFL tokens. One ticket cost 50 SHFL. That ticket remains live in every draw until the player chooses to unstake their SHFL. In a nutshell, instead of receiving staking rewards, the money is pumped into the lottery, which is a fantastic idea.

However, with this upgrade, registered players can now purchase ‘Single Entry’ tickets with all other supported cryptocurrencies, including USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, and XRP, among others. This will boost the number of players, and increase the prize pool, so better payouts for the winners.

There are two single-entry ticket types:

Standard Entry - Each Standard Entry ticket costs $0.25. It lasts for one draw. Players must choose five main numbers + one powerball number.

Powerplay Entry - This ticket costs $4.00. Again, it lasts for only one draw. With the Powerplay Entry, the lottery powerball is guaranteed, so you only need to choose five main numbers. The chances of winning this lottery with a Powerplay ticket are around 3.9 million to 1, whereas it’s about 62M to 1 with a standard ticket.
